PRIMARY OUTCOME
Integrated multiomics and spatial genomics analysis of 84 human donors revealed two distinct disease phases: an early phase with inflammatory microglia, reactive astrocytes, loss of somatostatin+ inhibitory neurons, and oligodendrocyte precursor cell remyelination; and a later phase with exponential pathology increase and loss of excitatory and Pvalb+/Vip+ inhibitory neurons.
