HT22 is an immortalized mouse hippocampal neuronal cell line widely used in neurobiology research, particularly in studies of excitotoxicity, oxidative stress, and neuroprotection relevant to Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative disorders[@morimoto1995]. Origin and Development
HT22 cells were originally derived from a mouse hippocampal neuronal cell transformation using the SV40 large T antigen[@morimoto1995].
