Introduction

Limbic-predominant age-related TDP-43 encephalopathy (LATE) is a recently recognized neurodegenerative condition defined by the accumulation of phosphorylated TDP-43 protein in limbic brain regions, often co-occurring with Alzheimer's disease pathology but representing a distinct clinicopathological entity.
