Myotonic Dystrophy

Myotonic Dystrophy (DM) is a complex, multi-system genetic disorder characterized by progressive muscle weakness, myotonia (delayed muscle relaxation), and involvement of multiple organ systems including the heart, endocrine system, and central nervous system.
