Overview

HNRNPUL2 (Heterogeneous Nuclear Ribonucleoprotein U-Like 2) is a nuclear matrix protein that belongs to the hnRNP U family. It plays crucial roles in RNA processing, splicing, transcriptional regulation, and the formation of ribonucleoprotein complexes involved in RNA metabolism. Located on chromosome 19q13.43, this gene encodes a protein of approximately 640 amino acids that is widely expressed in human tissues, with particularly high expression in neuronal nuclei.
