The University of Sao Paulo (Universidade de São Paulo, USP) is Brazil's most prestigious university and a leading research institution in Latin America. Founded in 1934, USP has grown to become one of the world's major research universities with approximately 120,000 students across multiple campuses[@uspneuroscience2024].
