Slit-Robo Signaling Pathway in Neurodegeneration

Overview

The Slit-Robo signaling pathway is a highly conserved axon guidance system critical for neuronal development, circuit formation, and synaptic plasticity. The Slit family of secreted ligands (Slit1-3) bind to Roundabout (Robo) receptors (Robo1-4), guiding neuronal migration, axon pathfinding, and synaptic formation throughout the central nervous system.
