Overview

AMPA receptors (AMPARs) are ionotropic glutamate receptors that mediate fast excitatory synaptic transmission in the brain. They are critical for synaptic plasticity, learning, and memory, forming the foundation of activity-dependent neural circuits[@b2024][@j2023].
