DYRK1B Protein

Overview

DYRK1B (Dual-specificity Tyrosine-Phosphorylation Regulated Kinase 1B) is a member of the dual-specificity tyrosine-regulated kinase (DYRK) family, which belongs to the larger MAP kinase superfamily. This serine/threonine kinase is encoded by the DYRK1B gene located on chromosome 19q13.32 and plays critical roles in cell cycle regulation, cell proliferation, differentiation, and metabolic homeostasis[@ariccacl2019].
