Overview

HEXDC3 (also referred to as HDDX3 or hexapeptide repeat containing protein 3) is a poorly characterized protein that has emerged as a potential contributor to neurodegenerative disease pathology. While comprehensive functional characterization remains incomplete, HEXDC3 belongs to a family of proteins featuring characteristic hexapeptide repeat sequences that may facilitate protein-protein interactions and cellular localization.
