Low-intensity tFUS acutely modulates entorhinal-hippocampal transmission and plasticity at EC-DG and EC-CA1 synapses in AD-relevant circuits. WITHOUT claiming SST interneuron or Piezo1/TRPML1 specificity. The mechanistic hypothesis should be simplified: tFUS → neural activity modulation → synaptic strengthening at perforant path inputs.
