🧫 Experiment Protocol
Exploratoryidiopathic pulmonary fibrosisC57BL/6 mice, human AECIIs, human lung fibroblastsproposed
Oil-red staining and immunofluorescence analysis were performed to detect lipid accumulation in mouse lung fibrosis frozen sections and bleomycin-treated human type II alveolar epithelial cells (AECIIs) and lung fibroblasts. This histological analysis aimed to identify the cellular sources and distribution patterns of abnormal lipid deposits in pulmonary fibrosis models, establishing that injured AECIIs are the primary source of accumulated lipids in response to bleomycin stimulation.
