Protein–protein interaction network of significantly altered genes in synucleinopathy appendix. Significant genes (p-adj. 0.05) identified from RNA-Seq and DNA methylation analysis were analyzed using the STRING database. The plot excludes genes that lack STRING-annotated functional connectivity. Nodes are colored according to whether the gene was identified via RNA or DNA methylation analysis. Markov Cluster Algorithm (MCL) was used to organize nodes, and the top statistically significant functional enrichment (i.e., lowest FDR value) was displayed above each cluster.
