Validation experiment designed to validate causal mechanisms targeting CD2AP in mice. Primary outcome: rescue of vascular impairments
Treatment of CD2AP mutant mice with endothelin-1 receptor A antagonists to test whether blocking this signaling pathway could rescue the cerebrovascular impairments. The experiment aimed to identify potential therapeutic targets for the vascular dysfunction caused by CD2AP loss. Results showed partial rescue of vascular impairments, but only in male mice, highlighting sex-specific therapeutic responses.
