Comprehensive untargeted lipidomics analysis was conducted to investigate differential lipid species in pulmonary fibrosis models. The analysis identified lysophosphatidylcholines (LysoPCs) as key differential lipid species. This omics approach provided systematic characterization of lipid metabolite changes associated with pulmonary fibrosis development and progression, revealing specific lipid signatures that could serve as biomarkers or therapeutic targets.
