Abstract

Ovarian cancer remains the most lethal gynaecological malignancy, with tumour recurrence and chemoresistance posing significant therapeutic challenges. Emerging evidence suggests that cancer stem cells (CSCs), a rare subpopulation within tumours with self-renewal and differentiation capacities, contribute to these hurdles.
