Exploratory experiment designed to discover new patterns targeting MAPK1, MAPK14, MAPK8, MAPK9 in Mouse macrophages. Primary outcome: MAPK protein phosphorylation levels
Western blotting experiments were conducted to assess the effects of QTJD on the MAPK signaling pathway components including ERK1/2, p38, and JNK1/2. The study investigated how QTJD's therapeutic effects are mediated through butyrate-induced modulation of MAPK signaling. Results showed that QTJD treatment significantly inhibited the phosphorylation/activation of ERK1/2, p38, and JNK1/2 MAPK proteins, suggesting that QTJD exerts its anti-inflammatory effects by suppressing pro-inflammatory MAPK signaling cascades involved in macrophage activation and cytokine production.
