TRIM17 (Tripartite Motif Containing 17), also known as RNF32, is a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family of E3 ubiquitin ligases. The TRIM family is characterized by a conserved architecture comprising a RING finger domain, one or two B-box domains, and a coiled-coil region, which together enable these proteins to function as E3 ligases that catalyze the transfer of ubiquitin to substrate proteins[@meroni2005]. TRIM17 (Tripartite Motif Containing 17), also known as RNF32, is a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family of E3 ubiquitin ligases.
