Collapsin Response Mediator Protein 2 (CRMP2), also known as Dihydropyrimidinase-like 2 (DPYSL2), is a critical cytoskeletal regulatory protein that plays essential roles in neuronal development, axonal guidance, and synaptic plasticity. CRMP2 belongs to the CRMP family of phosphoproteins (CRMP1-5 in mammals) that are involved in microtubule dynamics, actin organization, and cellular transport in neurons [@gomes2009]. The recognition that CRMP2 dysfunction contributes to neurodegenerative diseases, particularly amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Alzheimer's disease (AD), and multiple sclerosis (MS), has intensified research into understanding its precise roles in neuronal homeostasis and disease pathogenesis [@kenna2015; @moutal2017].
