Abstract

Background: Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) syndrome is a common sleep-related breathing disorder characterized by recurrent upper airway collapse during sleep and is closely associated with metabolic dysregulation, including insulin resistance, adipose tissue dysfunction, and impaired lipid metabolism.
