Abstract
Transferrin Receptor (TfR)-mediated transcytosis across the blood-brain barrier (BBB) enables the uptake of bispecific therapeutic antibodies into the brain. At therapeutically relevant concentrations, bivalent binding to TfR appears to reduce the transcytosis efficiency by receptor crosslinking.
