Introduction
TMBIM6 (Transmembrane BAX Inhibitor Motif Containing 6), also known as BAX Inhibitor 1 (BI1), is a highly conserved anti-apoptotic protein localized primarily to the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) membrane.
